I took a AVI file and using WinAVI program and guide I sucessfully converted it to a DVD file. Using Nero I burned this file to a disc with the DVD video complilation. The movie plays in the computer (which it did prior to this present conversion), but give me an "disc error" message with my separate DVD player hooked up to my TV. The DVD player plays DVD + or - discs. There were only eight files with the resulting disc where when I compare this to other sucessfully burns disc there are many more files.
Additional info: I used Nero Burning ROM program I did not go directly to the programm associated with WinAVI - nero vision express. Is that the problem?
