xvid to mpeg2 - audio problem

    I'm trying to convert an xvid into mpeg2 so I can have it on a dvd, I've done this before, but this one is giving me headaches

    I'm using TMPGenc and the audio is like a second ahead, don't know what I'm doing wrong, I need some help, I'm about to quit the project because of this file

    Any suggestions??

    Virtual dub

    open avi
    video/full processing mode
    Audio/full processing mode
    audio/ compression/no compression/ok
    file/save as wav


    after file is saved open it in tmpgenc audio source after you select the avi. .
