I have Xvid file that's around 750 MB. It's an avi movie under 2 hours and I wanna put it 1 700 MB CD. I have a burner that can reach overburn of 807 MB.

Can I convert this file to an MPEG that I can burn to a VCD with the movie still intact and under 807 MB?

No ,You can only Fit 80 Minutes of video Max on a 700MB CD-R when Makeing a Standard VCD ,If you want to Make a VCD out of a 2 Hour Video file you will need to use at least 2 CD-R"s....

Actually you would be Much Better off if you Made a DVD out of this XviD File as there are so many Playback problems with the VCD Format Pluss the Quality of VCD"s SUCK and One Blank DVD is Cheaper than 2 Blank CD-R"s and the quality is So MuCH Better than VCD and DVD Burners are Just as Cheap as CD Burners as you can get them Brand New For as Low as $40 US or used on e-Bay for as Low as $20...

    Cheers
