    Hi,
Note once again by me that Piracy is not allowed on this forums. Instead of downloading movies, you people should just buy the movies on DVD!! FOLLOW THE RULES, DO NOT FOLLOW ILLEGAL WAYS! :)!

I dont think being in possession of an xvid encoded movie is piracy. Being in possession of an xvid encoded hollywood block buster=piracy, having someones wedding movies for example=not piracy.
To be honest im tired of the grey area surrounding what is piracy and what isnt. If someone asks how to burn a new release they have downloaded, they deserve to get banned.
If however someone asks how to reencode a video they have in their possession how is that piracy and who are we to judge what they possess??
Its the same with downloading pirated material. If someone asks how to download off irc/bt/what ever its not against the rules. If someone asks how to download new release movies/ps2 or xbox games which are obviously pirated material then its an instant BOOM in my opinion
And if you want i can supply quotes/threads to back this up.

in answer to s10237 question, try the avi to dvd guide

    or

I found these using the search function by the way

And your point is?? Not every movie available on the net is illegal to download. Also, nowhere has s10237 stated that he possesses pirated material. Ppl assume they are talking to a pirate, when often they are not. Which quite often results in a new member going elsewhere.
