I might be answering my own question, but if the picture comes out squished veritcally does that mean that I set the wrong picture type (like setting a 4:3 to a 16:9 size)? Thanks
g-spot will tell you if its 4:3 or 16:9, but the eaiest way to tell is, if it looks wide its 16:9, if it looks sqaure its 4:3, very basic i know, but that method has never failed me. but download g-spot to make sure
4:3 is full screen squared picture, theres nothing long about it m8, 16:9 is wide with black bars on top and bottom, but sometimes on ur source(if downloaded) the bars may be cropped out making it look like a wide full screen, but its still 16:9 anywayz 'g-spot codec information' will tell you exactly what it is if ur not sure http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html
