Guys...I have a DLink Router, DSL, and FTP Flash and I still cannot get connected. I change my NIC settings to the recommended static IP address and I go in and save my Xbox settings....just don't know why I get this error..."connection refused" What am I doing wrong? I got on XBox Connect back in February of this year but someone walked me through it...I would appreciate it very much if someone knew the answer...I am 35 and am a bonehead...so you can make fun of me while you help me...thanks very much...I promise that as soon as I learn this stuff I will give back to the forums. I also get the message...The static IP address that was just configured is already in use on the network? I guess this may be because I have my laptop connected. I unconnected my laptop and no longer get the error. I am running Evox and 2.32 Lite...thanks!!_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Derron Johns[/small]

I figured it out...it was so easy...duh...with a router I did not need to do anything except change the settings to .2 instead of .1
