I have ripped a DVD and now have the VOB files on my HD. From reading the forums I am learning that I have to demux the VOB's, edit them, then remuix them BEFORE I burn a new DVD?

Please forgive my ignorance, only 2 days into the DVD burning thing!

    kicker180,

It all depends on the size of the resultant VOBs. Do they add up to greater than 4.7Gb (ish) I would suspect that they do (80% do)

Check out DVD-9 and DVD-5 type discs (one is twice the size of the other).

    Try www.doom9.org

Loads of information. Some might say too much.
