Ok, so I found a way to convert Youtube files to FLV (suggestion still welcomed) and now I want to convert said file so that I may burn it onto a DVD with Toast and watch it on my DVD player. I'm obviously (from the Toast reference) running Mac (OSX). Does anyone know a program that would enable me to convert this file free o charge? Thanks
im not sure if this will totally relate, but when you dl the files from youtube, put .flv on the end. im not sure if this will help, but thats what i did. i dled them manually. then i used a converter to convert them to mp4. i hope this helps. sorry, im not totally familiar w/ osx.
thanks oer..in the process of getting to the point to convert. Just need the conversion software for mac. Thanks anyway broseph!
youtube videos ARE flv files. the file you dl wile its streaming is a flv file. you just go into your temp internet folder, find the big file from youtube, copy it to your desktop then replace the end with ".flv" and it should play fine with any player.
