Although there are several different products from Zone Labs, such as ZoneAlarm Antivirus and ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite, your friends are probably talking about Zone Alarm Free Firewall. Zone Alarm Free Firewall is a great firewall, IMO one of the best free firewalls. But if you chose to use it, I would suggest using a later version, as the current can cause problems with some other progams you may have installed. I use version 6.1.744. Its stable and still does the job well.
