I thought this forum is to help each other but it seems that this forum is to despise each other because they don't want to deprive their ego.

No this forum is to help each other - sometimes helping people means saving them from wasting piles of money on overkill PSUs and unnecessary cooling systems.
It's also worth mentioning that the 850W OCZ PSU you mentioned, if pushed, will shut down a fair while before 850W. They're not actually that great. if you really do need an 850W you'd probably be better off looking at Zalman. In this case however, a Corsair HX 520W or VX 550W will be ample.

Additionally, you may want to adjust the size of your signature - forum regulation is 5 lines.

What I meant is that it runs MUCH cooler compared to a Q6600 and with a decent air cooler and the CPU at non-suicidal voltages heat will never become an issue.

Does it? I thought the TDP for both was the same...

Yeah combined with the fact than 45nm CPUs run much cooler, and the much lower voltage required for overclocks, they do run quite a bit cooler.

The Q6600 G0 and Q9450 both have a 95W TDP though - so at stock at least, how could one possibly run cooler than the other? I understand how the 9450s would run cooler overclocked due to the lower voltage, but at stock?

Well we were talking about overclocking here. The Q6600 needs a lot more voltage to run at 3.6Ghz then the Q9450. So it runs much cooler.

You also have to take into consideration that the Q9450 runs faster at stock speeds than the Q6600.

    Yeah... I don't get it.

But yeah, the Q9450 runs cooler :)
