64-bit has been in Industry for years. All the corporate main frame computers were 64-bit. This 64-bit stuff is old, the servers at my dads company have been running 64-bit cpus for years. (Cost them £200,000 in 1994)
Yes I mean about the home PCs. And the consoles are 128-bit! PCs are stuck to 32 and I think it was time for a change.
