A NEWBIES GUIDE TO MX ANDROID

Thanks paulie, genesis nothing works on it, same with salts, havent got ukturks or royalwe. It seems like 95% junk, theres only phoenix and sportsdevil that seem to work, most of the video addons are just empty menus or try to load but fail.

 

For what I read genesis is not updating any more and 123movies is set to replace it , below is the link to it and it working great , but as I say all the addons that are not working uninstall them first by going to video , video addons , highlighting blue, do not open , press blue on remote and setting , then uninstall , once you have all them out of the way you will have a bit more grunt in your box , input 123 movies ,let us know how it goes , you might need to reboot box to four changes to take affect

Just out at mo paulie but had a look at 123 link you sent and will try it later when i get back in. I uninstalled some of my addons...how things work, disney jr, earthcam, halow tv and a few more. Mind if i ask if youre in England and with virgin? I am, was wondering if virgin are blocking things like they did with the torrent sites, i used to dl films and ufcs to my tab but they stopped that little pleasure. Ive heard vpn mentioned a few times lately, do you use one? (Even though I'm not exactly sure what a vpn is/does). Thanks again!

 

Upar you probly have fusion on your box , if you go to video, video addons , go to the bottom of the page (to get more) open it should now have a list of A to Z of addons go down the list to see if ukturks is their and you can click on it to in stall , if it not their let me know ......... The metal kettle repo within fusion might not be installed you can follow this below starting at the part were it says install from zip file ..

Upar in Ireland but a lot of the guys in the forum piopat ,tongs , and many more would have a better idea , I do know from posting with the guys that some do have issues with providers , but most run OK , I have vermin/up* myself and all run OK , so maybe it's just a matter of tinkering with the box to get it sorted and running a little better , let us know how you get on with the above ,

Vpn is going down the road of private networks , don't use them myself , also iptv is another option , but the good ones are pay services , you can get .........

 

Hi Piopat,

I am having an issue with android box (MX III) showing the same WIFI connection twice and both connected. It won't allow me to access any applications because of the WIFI conflict. Any ideas how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated?

 

Monte if you go to page one on piopats newbies guide you see were he explains about wifi connection , are you saying you have both boxes ticked as in wifi and ethernet , you can only have wifi ticked if you are not using ethernet cable
If your box is near your modem it's better to connect with ethernet cable as it does improve your box performance .........
As you say you have same wifi twice with the same ip adress is strange , can you just untick one of them ?

Can I thank you VERY much for this guide. I have been struggling for weeks to set my mxpro box up and I am finally (almost) there. A couple of questions that I hope you can help with/point me in the right direction please...
- 1Channel - nothing appears in it although it is enabled???
- I have heard Genesis is good - where can I find/add that?
- is it possible to search for a specific film or tv programme or even channel? E.g. Star Wars, Scandal, Sky1, etc?

Hello,

I can connect via ethernet with no problem. the router is not near where I have the android box. As for the WIFI connection, when I uncheck one of the WIFI connections both become uncheck. I am uploading a picture of my WIFI connection so you can see the issue I am having.

Jackiea if your box came preloaded , then you probly have fusion installed , genesis is in the lambada repo , you can check first , if you go to video,video addons if it's not on your addons list , go to the bottom of the list you see ( get more ) open that you should now have a long list from A to Z go down the list should see genesis , click on it and install , if it's not their post back

Monte had a wifi problem a few months back , got a box for a mate of mine set the box up with my settings , took it to his place and could not change the settings to his , if you go to page 5 of newbies guide , go half way down the page to part 2 , you see how piopat helped me resolve the problem you might need to do the same to reset the wifi settings , check it out , also one of the guys in the forum might have seen this issue before and pitch in . Lol

yes some addons are blocked over here but if you change the urls to the most recent ones (think my post is 3 pages back, will find them when ive typed this) all should be good

Hi. I have followed your thread to the point where i have to click 'get addons' the problem is i dont have that option on my box? I cant find any addons anywhere. I can open the videos addons link but i have nothing there. My box came preloaded with all of the kodi software, showbox, mobdro etc.

 

show me a pic of your kodi mate, open the kodi app and take a pic

Looking at the picture above tongs , when hes opening kodi hes going in to system then addons , clunky when you open kodi go along the task bar with your right and left arrow keys on remote , you should see programmes, video , system etc , they will all higlight blue as you go from one to the other , only press ok on remote when you have video highlighted blue ,you now see your addons list ,or video addons click on that and brings up list of addons
Ps going by the picture you are opening system and not video lol
