melody ukturks and phoenx kodi addons give a lot of premier league games . also there are some op android apps , one is uktv now , gives you all the top sky channels including all the sports channels / usa / asian ect . its also got an other section that has channels 1 to 8 and usually you get several premier league games there . world sports streams android app gives you all of the top european sports channels including sky uk / sky italia / sky germany and bundesliga , plus the likes of bien sports , tsn and nbc sports and lots more . its got an channel 1 to 30 section where all saturday 3pm premier league is shown . you can navigate uktv pretty much easy with your regular remote and cursor , however world sports app requires the wifi mouse or a usb mouse . you have into install mx player from the google play store as both these android apps require it . uktv now requires you to open a free account which you can do right from the app , all you need is an email address and pick a username and password , then type those into the app .

with acceleration in my experience you always get sound but some times no picture , and by changing accelleration options you can get picture back .

i suppose it cant hurt to try it out tho .

to access accceleration menu open kodi , go to SYSTEM and then SETTINGS . then select VIDEO .

now on the left of screen you will see several options but acceleration wont be listed , scroll down to the very bottom of those options to where it says SETTINGS LEVEL and it probably says basic (but we need to change that to expert ) , now with settings level highlighted press ok button , and press ok button untilll settings level says EXPERT . when it does scroll back up along the left side of screen and ACCELERATION will now be listed , if so go to it and highlight it , then on the right side of screen you will see the acceleration options .

press your RIGHT button to move over to the right side of screen . now the bit you are after is the DECODING METHOD bit . it probably says HARDWARE ACCELERATED if you go to that line and highlight it and press ok you can change it to SOFTWARE . that simply turns off (disables ) all of the 3 codecs just below where it says DECODING METHOD . you will know when they are enabled as they will have a blue dot to the right , when disabled that dot turns grey . the 3 codecs are
    amcodec
    libstagefright
    media codec

so you can simply just change decoding method from hardware accellerated to software , or you can go to one of the codec lines and highlight it and press ok to disable it . the thing is you may not have to disable all 3 codecs which is what happens when you change from hardware to software , some times its best to disable one codec and try it and see what occurs , and then try disabling or enabling the other codecs and see if it solves the problem . i find that some videos / channels only play audio but no video , i can simply disable amcodec and the video works . and the method for enabling is the same as disabling , just go to the line in question and highlight it and press ok .

but all of that said i would say the above wont solve the problem . i think perhaps your audio output mode is incorrectly set , it should be set to hdmi output mode .

to check this go to your android apps or to settings which ever you can access easily on your box . when you open settings you should see NETWORK / DISPLAY / ADVANCED and so on . use your right button to scroll to DISPLAY ,below display it should say AUDIO OUTPUT MODE , all being well it will say ON and it should say HDMI AUDIO OUTPUT SETTING : HDMI 1080P 60HZ .

if your box says off instead f on obviously turn it on , and if it says other than HDMI switch it to hdmi , it may simply be that audio output mode is off . i hope this helps .

IF YOUR GENESIS ADDON HAS PROBLEMS OR IS NOT WORKING HERE IS HOW TO FIX IT .

genesis addon was taken over by mr know as lambda the guy who made genesis no longer supports it . but lambda gave mr know permission to update genesis . so the genesis addon is now called specto - fork , its got a different name but its the same great addon .

all you have to do is install a new repository (repo ) and then install the new specto - fork addon and you are back in business .

here is the specto fork repo url

    http://filmkodi.com/repository

install the repo as normal and then install the specto fork addon from it , and you have genesis back and working .

once the rep / addon is installed you can remove the old genesis addon as it will never work again .

Besides the above, i installed a great Kodi addon for Sports this week - NJM but now it's giving me error 404 when i try to open it - what's gone wrong please?

uktv now and world sports streams apps are as i said android apps (apps is short for applications ) not kodi addons , there is a difference . for example kodi is an android app . so android apps and kodi addons are different , but an android box can play both .

i will attach uktv now and world sports streams android apps to this post so you can download them . download them to a usb memory stick , both files are zip files so you have to then unzip them so that you have two files on your stick that end with .apk

next insert the stick into any usb connection on your box . now you need to go to where all your android apps are in your box , kodi will be listed there as is an android app . so if you see kodi and lots of other apps you are in the right place .

where your android apps are can look like this

if you look at the above picture just to the right of the arrow you will see file browser , you will need to open that app .

or its possible your box may look like this

if your box looks like the picture above simply press the + icon . that will show you all your android apps , find file browser and highlight it and press ok . now press exit and you should be back on the above picture and you should see file browser somewhere next to the + icon . please note that you have a limited number of apps that you can display next to the + icon (i think its 6 or 8 so you may need to remove some unused apps in order to add uk tv now and world sports streams . removing an app is the same as adding an app , just select the + icon and look at the list of apps , any app that is listed in your 6 or 8 will have a yes tick on them . so simply go to and highlight an app or apps that you dont use and press ok and the yes tick will be gone . then exit back to the above picture .

now we are ready to open file browser , so what ever picture is what you see go to and open file browser .

when you open file browser at the top of the screen you will see icons , on the left will be a house / home icon , use your cursor to go to that and place your cursor on it and press ok button . now look below that and you should see some storage locations in your box listed , my box calls my usb stick sda1 , other boxes can be a little different . if you see sda1 select it and open it and you will see all files on your usb stick listed . if you dont see sda1 then your box calls your stick a different name , so just open the options available untill you can see the uktv now and world sport streams apps you downloaded listed .

now when you can see the apps listed go down to uktv now and highlight it and press ok to install . now you may see a small pop up asking if you want to give this app certain permissions if so say yes . you will certainly see a big box pop up containing certain info , just scroll down to the bottom right of this box by pressing your down button untill you see an install option , then just select it . install is usually quick 20 or 30 seconds maybe . when thats done go back several steps to file browser to where you could see the apps on your usb stick and now install world sports streams as you dd above .

after that both apps are now installed and ready to be used . now you need mx player , if you know ho to install apps from google playstore go there and get mx player , dont worry its free .

or download mx player from my next post , download it to a usb stick as you did with the other two apps and also unzip it , then install it just the same as you installed the other two apps . i will upload mx player in my nest post as it seems it to big to upload here with the other two files .

once you have all 3 apps installed you can then open world sports streams app and start viewing but you will need either a wifi mouse remote or a regular usb mouse to navigate the app . thats the only real downside to that app .

for uktv now you need a free account before you can view channels , dont worry its easy . just open the app and you should see a login page , if you look on the far right it says login and below that sign up , select sign up .

now you will be asked to type in your email address , a user name and a password , the user name and password can be anything you like , but i think the password requires atlest one number , so for example if you types melody1 that may be ok . i should have mentioned that you select the email line and the onscreen keypad appears and you type your email on that , then select next/done its either one or the other . and type in your username and password , then confirm your password and select next/done . there should be a lttle tick box near where it says login / sign up or some where onscreen saying either remember me or stay logged in , if its ticked thats fine but if not tick it and hen sign in /login . thats it . you will see some channels listed as you log in , i would ignore those and move your cursor to the top left corner of screen and select ALL CHANNELS , then you will see all the categories . lets say you select movies , turn off your cursor and then use your up/down and left/right buttons to scroll to a channel and press ok to open it , lets say sky movies premier . when its open you will see link 1 and link 2 , move your cursor to link1 and pres ok and the channel should play , if not exit back and select link 2 . to stop a channel press stop button and then exit back to select another .

there are some pop up ads with these apps , usually 2 or 3 , they all have a little x in the top left or top right corner all you have to do is place your cursor on the x and press ok and its gone . a small price to pay for all these channels .

lastly uktv now has an epg guide , its listed in the categories , you cant select channels from there just yet but they are working on that and so maybe we will have that in the next version of the app .

no worries tongs mate . this kodi addon is based on the same uktv now channel list i think
    https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-install-live-mix-kodi/

unofficial kodi addons like this tend to be good but dont last long , the reason being a very large amount of kodi users using the addon puts to much pressure on the server . but the android app version is official and always works .

did you buy the box new ? if so yo should have no trouble playing a movie as even when you include all the android stuff and kodi it shouldnt really take up any more that 3 or at best 4 gb of space . you need to go to settings , you should have an app called settings , open that and on the left side of screen there are options , scroll down the list to storage and then look to the right and it should tell you how much memory has been used and how much is left . if its to full you have to start clearing space , this is one reason why never recommend pre loaded boxes as they come brim full of addons and many can be broken or useless or even foreign and its just wasting space on your box .

also open kodi and go to SETTINGS , then go down under settings and select SYSTEM INFO , then go to storage (agian look to the right ) that should also tell you how much memory in gbs that your box has and how much is used up and how much is still free . then lastly scroll down t hardware and look to the right and see how much cp usuage and memory usage you have .

the figures you give us will tell us if you need to clear memory space . if 5gb is your box total memory that is small and not great , my box has 8gb meaning that after all the android stuff is accounted for and including a large kodi file i still have about 3gb spare memory .

some addons allow downloads and others dont , i think first lets see how you are fixed memory wise and go from there as if the box memory full it wont operate properly so then it will need sorting out .
