@ tongs - To install this i assume i have to follow your instructions as per stallion right? :

to install download the file> stick it on usb drive on pc, stick stick in box> load up kodi> system> addons>install from zip file> locate your stick on the right hand side (normally called sda1)> click on the zip file you downloaded> wait for addon enabled> go to video addons and stallion will be there.

thanks tongs. are the old njm and uk turks addons no good now? njm hasnt had any menus in it for a couple of weeks now on my kodi. shall i uninstall the old ones?

also, on your instructions for stallion and certain others, you say download a file to pc,transfer to usb stick, then insert stick in mxq box to retrieve.
...can you not just download the file through chrome on the mxq box then retrieve it through kodi from the box downloads?

as paulie says remove and reinstall, also i tell people to download on pc then transfer to usb as its easier for less savvy people than if it was downloaded directly to box, but yes you can do it either way :)

    Hi,
How do I put a particular add-on in the "quick" list of 5 just under the video add on icon in kodi?

ukturks is back now and if your box s on and kodi open the addon should auto update without it needing uninstalling or reinstalling . i cant speak for njm as i dont use it but i never had to do anything with uktrks just to let it update by itself which it did in seconds .

some addons may have an issue if people are using jarvis 16.0 or higher where they may have audio but no video on some addons , i think (if memory serves) that phoenix addon or atleast parts of it are affected . this is a codec issue , codecs are very simply put what lets you hear and see an addon . usually all 3 codecs are enable , for some addons (with this problem) you may need to disable codecs and the re enable them afterwards .

yes it is better that way as downloading onto the box direct will take up memory space .

also you can ftp from your computer to your android box . very simply that means (if you connect a usb stick to yor android box) that you can send a file / addon etc from your computer to the usb stick attached to the box , that way you dont have to keep moving the stick between box and computer which can damage it or kill it if not properly removed .

all you need is (a usb stick obviously lol ) an ftp app such as filezilla and you need to intall an app called wififtpserver from google play store . its simply then a matter of turning wififtp app on and then entering the box details into filezilla much as you would say if you were connecting to a dreambox etc to pop in a c line .
