A NEWBIES GUIDE TO MX ANDROID

in your android apps you should have an app movie player , you should atleast in theory be able to play your movies/ recordings from there . i say in theory because these movies etc come in all different file types , so movie player may play all your recordings and it may just play some . it wouldnt play a youtube documentary for me , or atleast it played the audio but not the picture .

 

hi guys came across a new repo dragon streams for kodi if any wants to check it out the source is as follows
http://kodi.torrentrelease.info and the name is dragon . installing is the usual go to system /file manager / add source //
once you have source entered select done , / next type in name select ok . go back to system and select addons , select install from zipfile . select dragon / select repos/ select repo repository.torrentrelease.info 10.0.2 zip wait for addon to enable . go back to get addons , select the repo torrentrelease / select video add ons / select dragon streams / wait for add on enabled . to check it out go to videos /add ons / dragon streams .

did a bit of looking around inside dragonstreams so for some tips if you are looking for the sly movies package go to dragontv /tvone1.com / movies / has all the movie channels plus rte channels and others and excellent hd quality.
for sports channels go sports/ all / has sly sports plus all usa sports
for excellent HBO boxing replays go to boxingreplays /replays /mma and boxing


guys i instaled pulsar on my computer and working great it downloads the movie first so you have no buffering issues no matter what speed you internet is running at, also downloaded the pulsar andriod version for my mxbox but cannot get to run so if any has it running on their andriod boxes they might post some tips , thanks in advance guys

as far as i know pulsar only works on computers not android boxes . im sure they will make an android version soon tho .

the addon downloads from torrent sites from what ive read , and of course depending on the individuals broadband speed and size of file download may be slow . so people should bear that in mind .

dragon sounds good , i had seen it but havent tried it out , but ill try it out now . thanks for posting paulie mate

 

hi piopat a new arm version of pulsar is out now for andriod but still at early stage , i got it running for a while on my ipad but then started getting error message pulsar has crashed on startup , after reading up a bit about it i think it could be a space issue , a lot guys have it running on their andriod boxes ok but a lot of others are having issues it would be great for box users with slow speed enternet , because it loads the film first so there are no buffering problems. im ok running movies as i have ecellent 120mb internet. i have not tried yet on my mxbox so i might give it a shot or i might wait for a more stable version as the mx box has a bit more space , if i get it running i will post asap.

ps as i say i have it running on ny pc perfect and you can pick the torrents you want to use from a long list yiffy / kickass and so on, it would be great to get it running on the andriod boxes so if anyone checking in might give a post with info .

hi tongs just tried it on my ipad and workin fine on thing i did when i installed it and shut down when i started up again it updated it self to new version when you start up and open dragon streams go to update information should no have version 4.5.4.0 may 10/11/2015 , also check this one out go to dragontv / tvone1.com / movies / sly premier movies i have just checked this on my ipad and watching it now in perfect quality and no bufferihg issues let me know how you get on

guys since my last post i have now tried dragon streams across 3 things runs ok on my pc/ipad/ and on mxbox , just wondering is it a speed issue, what i tried on all platforms , will you try , dragon live tv/tvone1.com /movies /sly movies premier also try dragon sports / replays /mma and boxing /pick hbo fight , i just picked these two samples and are running perfect and quality is 100 pc and no buffering , try the two i selected and let me know how you get on guys ....

 

yes i can confirm that channels on tvone1 do work now . and ilive works , ilive gives you a lot of uk /usa / europe channels , for example history channel uk / usa / europe etc so for those parts alone its worth having

 

Sorry chaps been on the old night shift. Yes all is working now. Must have been a problem with the server at the time me and Mrpat tried. Nice addon been looking for something like this since sparkys stream went down. Paulie you've come along way and now instead of asking for advise your supplying the knowledge. I've known you since you were knee high to a grasshopper lol but no fair play mate and thanks for the addon

 

tongs mate the channels that were on sparkys streams came from another addon . sparky shall we say didnt ask permission to use the channels in his app lol , thats why they dont work on his app any more as the proper addon maker updated their addon to stop sparky or others using their channels . the addon is called uk tv now , its an android addon with all the channels sparky had (all free ) and the picture quality is very good . one slight downside is that there are a few pop up adverts before you open a channel , but only about 3 and you can easily close them by placing the cursor on the x and pressing ok .

also you have to register on the addon . you need an email address and a user name , but they dont mail you or anything so you can type in any email address as long as its valid and the user name of your choice and then you are in .

if anyone wants the addon but cant find it let me know and ill post it .

by the way came across another repo this one is for freeing up extra memory in kodi i have tried and tested this repo on my ipad and mxbox and works a treat , for eg i had 320mb free on kodi in my ipad after running the programme i now have 425mb so this is for anyone using kodi on ipad or andriod boxes as you know guys every time you watch a movie for eg it leaves a thumbnail and they build up and take up space plus cache and as most boxes and ipads have only 1gb ram you need all the space you can get so here goes guys the repo is called raw maintainence ,
GO TO SYSTEMS IN KODI / FILE MANAGER /ADD SOURCE

Hi my mx android box as from yesterday will not pick up any wi-Fi access points. Will connect via ethernet. Have tried Reboot but still nothing please can someone help.

 

Dafen could be one of a few things with wifi issues on the mxcboxes. Did have a few problems in the past , if you go to page 5 on this thread ,go half way down the page you will see were I had a problem, follow piopats tips and one of the few different ways should sort you out start at the first ones as in making sure your WiFi is switched on in settings

Check back in again here let us know how you get on

Hi thanks for the reply. I erased all cache and reset to factory settings through reboot to recovery. Had to update most of that apps and xbmc, but now working fine, hopefully will stay ok.

 

Dafen while you have it up and running to the way you want it as in apps and repos , would be a good idea to back your system up to USB or sd card , if you run in to trouble again , you'll have a lot less bother if you have to do a factory reset .
