ADVISE ON A NEW DVD BURNER

    guys the Value line are rebadged benQs

    the Premium line are REAL Plextors drives which is the PX-716A

    and Yujenh it is your fault lol but its not that big of a deal i just wanted you guys to know the correct info. since iam a huge Plextor supporter

    well i guess you will be the right guy for this question.
    is the PX716 well worth the price?? at over 100 you can almost buy 2 benq 1655 or 2 pioneer dvr-110 with some money left or you can buy 2 nec 3550 which is really cheap. another way of asking it is it going to outlast at least 2 drives??

    since its my fault i want to be clear on this
    the benq dw1640= Plextor PX740uf PX740a and sony dru810a right??
    so what is the difference in quality between the original Benq Dw1640 and the rebadge drives??

    the PX-716A IMHO is well worth the extra money ,but thats up to you i had a PX-712A with over 5000 burns on it before i replaced it.

    and yes the theres NO quality difference between the rebadged Plextor and the BenQ ,there are the 1640 as far as i know ,you could call them to make sure(Plextor)
