    Just taken delivery of the EX1100 flashed it as per instructions and the thing has turned its self off and will not restart any body any ideas please

    Hi im new on this, This eurovox xl 1100 wil it work off ntl ??
    will have all the movies & sports ?? If so !!!

    There is no boxes on the market anywhere that work on Nagra 3

    looks like the file was corupt but still unable to power the box up does anybody know how to reccover the box or is it a bin job

    Return the unit to the supplier and get them to replace it.

    Unless it's one of the several sellers that say the warranty is void if you update the firmware

    Hi there guys i have a new ex1100 on telepest and the epg will not work properly also the picture freezes every now and then, Is there a known issue with this and mabe a fix ?

    Are`you using splitters on your incoming feed ??

    what is your signal strenght ?

    i have a splitter on the line but i am still getting 82% on it i know another guy from my area that is also having the epg problem

    anyone got any ideas on my slot 0 card in" "slot 0 card out" problem? nobody has commented on it yet and it is still doing it and driving me crazy, would be grateful for any help guys thanks in advance

    My box did the slot 0 slot 1 thing last night i turned it off at the wall and rebooted and it went away again

    done it mate and reflashed it about 10 times it always comes back on running out of patience with it as it always seems to happen mid programme grrrr

    Yeah i was told these are the latest greatest box out and im getting lots of prob s with it lol mabe should have kept the old d-box lmao

    I had the same problem on my first day after flashing the box,Remove your scart's and make sure they are clean and put back in tight,
    This worked for me.

    I also have a problem with the EPG It's very poor,That apart it's a good box.

    not sure if this helps or has anything whatsoever to do with your problem.

    I tried a different SCaRT lead and the slot 0 message has not been back since.

    I am quite happy with box, apart from the EPG being totally useless.

    Did you all notice the slot 0 slot 1 problem is fixed with an update. And in the update the read me tells us that the epg problem is a known issue and is being worked on

    PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A BETA FILE

    EX1100 Sept25th Beta Firmware
    Fixes the SLOT 0 OUT problem
    Still to do:
    Fix EPG for some areas
    Default to stereo audio rather than LEFT

    Thanks to Barnsley Bill for this tutorial

    1). To update the firmware on the box follow below
    2) place the usb pen drive into the eurovox,(with the power to the box off) power the box on.
    3) Menu.........record......HDD FORMAT...format the usb flash stick..Power the box off and remove the usb flash stick.
    4)Place the usb flash stick into the pc and send the file we downloaded to it.
    5)With the power to the eurovox off and all set up on the tv ready to view....Place the usb flash stick into the eurovox and power the box up.
    6)menu......TOOLS.......UPGRADE BY USB.....SW..THEN RED BUTTON TO START THE UPGRADE...you'll see a bar move across the screen and the box will reboot..Job done..

    REMEMBER,ALWAYS POWER THE BOX DOWN B4 REMOVING/INSERTING THE USB FLASH STICK TO AVOID COSTLY ERRORS.

    SCANNING.

    MENU.........INSTALL..........POWER-SCAN...CHOOSE YOUR PROVIDER FROM THE LIST..AND START THE SCAN...

    After the scan as finished,just leave on ya fav pay channel,you'll see a message on the tv screen..UPDATE,this may take a few mins,but will clear.

    you will find the latest file for the eurovox 1100usb below

    Personally guys, I don't give a monkeys who originates the content of posts here or anywhere else! - I'm just eternally grateful for the content - without which I'd just bought a blimming expensive freeview box....

    hi all.......im not quite a newbie at this..but im havin some problems getting the red/2.5.2.0 to function.......download the latest firmware and flashed successfully........

    downloaded the FTA bin file but i cant flash this......? presumably this is spose to enable the secret menu?
