    please help me got the starview hd combo box this morning tryed for 8 hours to get it to work everything works till i get to highlight accesrys put 8989 in nothing happens my channels are still scrambeled cant get keyedit up please help

    done all the software every thing down to 8989number
    nothing happens

    the box you have is it the lan or non lan box when did you get it ??

    yes it is lan got all the right setting pyed £199 of the internet new box

    hi i have just tryed to download but it keeps stoping what can i do,,,

    Loading Instructions
    Load the GrooveRider File file on to a Memory stick,
    then insert the Memory stick in the front USB port on the receiver.
    Now press the menu button on the remote now go to Accessory and highlight USB,
    then press the OK button on the remote,
    you will now see the GrooveRider File in the USB menu.
    Go to the file and press the OK button on the remote then select S/W +All Data Update to load file.
    When the file as been loaded then go to Utility and Factory (DB)
    Reset do a Factory Reset. The job is now done.

    Now
    Go -to Key Edit menu Hidden function(Toggle method) Press “8989” on the RCU on the menu (Accessory)
    : if you Autoupdate is “off” you should switch it to “on” to make it enabled.

    hello all

    just bought one of these hd combo plus boxes and felt a little disappointed with the pic quality on the normal channesl . the hd channels are great registering a blistering 1080 dpi on the tv but the other channels dont register eveb 576dpi like my dbox used too.
    ive used a good hdmi and component lead but still not as good.
    any help?

    i was alos told that these boxes are future proof via the lan port once nagra 3 kicks in..is that correct.

    im alos told that alot more hd channels are going to be released n virgin..is that correct?

    i can sedn the box back if i want to get my money back but dont want too if i need it later on!
