I just purchased a laptop comp that is xp/mce os .I need to know what anti-virus will work on this. It came with a 60 day norton trial that I don't want to use. Also will ccleaner work on mce os I'd rather use it to uninstall programs since it does a bettr job than windows.I'm using avg free on this one. Works fine.

One more thing I really want to get rid of the aol trial that's on there but it doesn't show up in the add/remove programs.

Use Comodo as a firewall. AVG or Avira Antivir as anti-virus. Maybe Nod32 if you want to pay but Avira is free for personal use. If you don't mind that it updates itself randomly whenever it feels like it, it's an awesome AV program.
