Why don't you format this drive to NTSF, it is still Fat32 and you are running XP? What is this are you ripping a backup copy?
yes arniebear this is a backup i was haven reading problems with tried to copy it and kept getting error on it my original some how go t a crack in it we went to watch it lastnight and found out the original was damaged so i tried to rerip the backup. what is NTSF and how do i format it for that? i think this is some of my problems with my burner its not beefed up to opperate right
Here is how to convert your drive to NTFS, I did this for a spare drive in my wife's comp with no loss of date. However, it is always good to back up your data regularly. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307881 As for you disk problem, if the disk is scratched or has errors you probably will have problems on a rerip. Better to get another original if the original is bad too.
@arniebear. what would my D drive have to do with burning? it is a small drive that has my recovery for my system?
If you are not using the drive for anything else, then just leave it. If you are using it to rip movies to then converting would be a good thing.
yea its not being used at all it is only like 3.25G to store my info for my recovory system. i dont knopw why that even showed up...im just sol on this movie the orginal has a big crack in it(dont know how it got there) and the backup is junk about 34mins into it.
