Okay after 3 trys I uninstalled, rebooted and ran ccleaner, and system mechanic, cachepal and clean temp, to make sure i had a complete uninstall.Rebooted again, Then updated again to 6.0.9.9 and this time it worked. never had this trouble before, hope it's not going to be like this for every update. we get 2 or 3 a week some times. Still love the program though.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

Updated to AnyDVD 6.0.9.9 and couldn't use my Norton Internet Security 2007. I've had this problem before and I ended up having to uninstall Norton and reinstall it and all seems fine now but what a bugger to have to do. Does anyone know why this might have happened? I wanted to make sure that it was AnyDVD that was causing the problem and so I uninstalled that first and my Norton started to work again. If anyone could help me with this as it has happened with 3 updates and is frustrating beyond belief!
    Thanks.

Forgot to mention that I have a purchased version of AnyDVD and they helped me out when one of the updates wouldn't recognize my drives and would shut it down. Was also wondering if there is a site you can go to to download older versions of AnyDVD as when I have a problem with the new update I end up not having anything until a new update comes out and hope for the best.

In the future keep the current AnyDVD downloaded on your HDD, that way you'll have them available to go back to. Keeping the last 10 that worked, ought to do the trick.

I've had Norton 2005, and 2006 Internet security and never a problem with AnyDVD. Not scheduled for 2007 until July.

Thank you so much for your help and I will keep it in mind. By the way you will really like NIS 2007. Much different than 2006 and picks up a ton more adware and spyware. I have been quite impressed with it. Once I hear back from Slysoft about my question (which I figure will be after Christmas) I will post it just in case anyone else has a problem. Happy Holidays!

as I explained on another post, it was the first time anydvd and clone could not work, it was All the Kings Men, I had 9.7 and yesterday downloaded 9.9, with 9.7 it would not load up, everything was blank, with 9.9 as I inserted the copy into my player and it did stay blank for about a minute than it did load up, clicking on play it would not work, it would just shut down and go back to the players screen, I pressed play again and the movie screen came up again but this time I clicked on feature select, that way it worked, watched the whole movie no problem. This a tricky one, first time sony gave anydvd and clone a problem. But if I can watch the movie from feature select I'm ok with it.
