Anyone got a patch for Leisure suit larry?

What program are you guys using to patch the disc? I downloaded craxtion but it crashes when I try to run it. With qwix, it looks like I can't do anything except browse the disc.

I have again sent out via email the 2 fixs everyone wants at the moment. I have found 2 patches for censor block removal but they are the same in size and within their codes. (blah, blah, blah!)- sorry but my source is a secret!

Sorry all for the lateness as well, you know? Having a life away from the PC is my girls major aim for me!!!

With the game LSL I had downloaded the original retail version, unpacked rar files and burnt the image! Perfect!

Then ftp back to PC and then installed the fixs, created .iso with xISO and PERFECTO!!!! censor bars removed! Also the .XBE file for HD fix I placed on image- I have burnt to disc and PERFECTO!!!
My contact has used the HD fix and placed of the HD and PERFECTO!!!

I am not fully into the game at moment as too busy with all my work and playing FABLE at moment! Great game!

But a friend is having a awesome time with it!

Its dead simple to change the Censor settings yourself. NO D/L REQUIRED. Get yourself a hexeditor like HHD Hex Editor. Open the ORIGINAL AppInit.JAM file, don't d/l and open the AppInit.JAM file that is floating around, all its "00" values have been changed to "20". The game wont load with this version.

Do a search for this entry "Nudity Setting", it reads "set this value to 1 to remove censor
bars....etc....DataLink { Name "NudityMode".Type Boolean.Data 0 }".
Change the 0 to a 1 !!

Then look for line 00371490, it reads "0.000000 1.00000"
Change the 1 to a 0 !!

Save the changes, replace the file, create ISO, Burn to disc, run the game.....

I have tested it to work with the following;
- Censored bars removed when you unlock nude rotating models in the extras menu when you pause the game.
- Censored bar removed when larry gets the first chick back to his room and drops his pants (although you can't see his old-fella cause its just off the screen anyway, but you do catch a glimpse of his arse).
- Censored bar removed when you unlock nude dance mode. You can later go back to the first chick and she'll do a strip dance for you... yep top and bottom all revealed....

Thats all I tested, but everything else should be sweet also.

Hope I made sense, not real good at explaining hex editing, first go at it.

I can confirm this does work. The .jam file i downloaded didn't work although i noticed that the nude mode had been changed from 0 to 1 but the offset 00371490 was not changed. So i changed it and sent back to hdd and it works fine. Good peepin all!!!!!

Hdd fix....i can give u the hex edit so u can change your own default.xbe. open larrys defualt.xbe with hex editor, go to offset 00168370 the line should read (3b 81 9c 05 00 00 74 11 68 8c 8b 24 00 68 20 4b)Change the (74) to (eb). then save exit hex editor and send back to your xbox.
I do have a question of my own if anyone could help. i am stuck and can not change clothes.i have got 4 different outfits and can not change to them for the girl. i have done some hex edit cheats for more money and some for the little games and dunno if i poked the wrong offset or something.

The HDD fix definitly works. And the censor bar works from what i have seen, but i havnt played enough yet to know but im pretty certain it works fully. It remove atleast one censor bar that i found.

I will take the files done in a week or 2 so get 'em quick.
