What kind of movie is "Wasabi"? I know of wasabi--but it is a green powder that when mixed with a little water (2:1 ratio) and then eaten it will blow out your nose and sinus in record time. Only buy the Japanese (powder)little can of it--the other 'wasabi's" are merely pretenders to the throne. And never let your home be out of Sriracha sauce, a milder form of mouth torture. And--it has garlic too!
Solargame--thanks for your mention of "Fight Night"...I was unaware of it and it sounds good. One of my all-time favorites is "Fight Club".
Wasabi is a film about a policeman who discovers his ex-japanese girlfriend has died (she left him for no reason) & when he goes to Japan, he inherits all of her possessions, including his 19 yr old daughter (Played by Ryoko Hirosue - VERY pretty!) http://flying-heart.or.tv/Ryoko_Hirosue/2004attiva01_ryoko01.jpg Well worth watching! Film & Ryoko!
The Day after Tomorrow was excellent McCauley Culkin is a hero in Home Alone 1 and 2 (and i think he or his l'il bro is in Uncle Buck - classic line of all time re the "what's your record for consecutive questions" - "i'm a kid, that's my job" - awesome stuff Team America - i love that one, in a daft kind of way Leon: The Professional - excellent stuff, haven't watched that in a long time 8MM - i really like that movie Land of the Dead - we haven't had that here in UK yet.. saw The Skeleton Key last night, i loved it. i pretty much guessed the twist when it came but thoroughly enjoyed nonetheless oh and got around to re-watching 'Saw' the other night, i wasn't too sure the first time round, really enjoyed it second time Sorry i've just replied pigeon fashion, have been offline most of the last few days, playing catchup
My wife and I watched "March of the Penguins" last night. The documentary was absolutely fantastic. One heck of a tough life that those penguins lead. And for those French cameramen to go through a full year in that extreme cold, is outstanding.
Saw Lord Of War the other day with Nicolas Cage about arms dealing pretty shocking at times but none the less a very good movie.
Lately, I have run out of movies to see--this site gives me new ideas thank god--I did think of a good one worth watching again...the inimitable *** C H R I S T I N E ***, the hottest '57 Plymouth you'll ever see. And--don't we all wish our cars would fix themselves when someone crashes into you?
I'm late a bit with my answer (Nephilim), but still I've seen Amelie. I liked it, but suppose too sweet Alkohol: Ya, the Shawshank redemption is great. p.s. So was Red... (Great moment, isn't it?) Leon also rather good. His flower is awsome
Stay away from Deuce Bigolo: European Gigolo. It was horrible. One of the worst movies I've seen in a while. The first one was funny, but this one was just plain stupid. A real let down. I watched House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects this week. House of 1000 Corpses was a let down. I can imagine they edited the crap out of it. I'd love to see a director's cut of it, if one comes out. Devil's Rejects was OK. I cannot believe Priscilla Barnes is in it - Terri from Threes Company! OMG! I was shocked. I never in a million years thought she'd do a movie like that! I have Mr & Mrs Smith here, but haven't watched it yet. Also a few others.
liked MR. and MRS. Smith alot and Angeina Jolie man oh man does she look great in this movie WOW !!!!!!
indeed. i certainly do my bit to keep it going, might watch 'Millions' tonight, or maybe Madagascar, but then again i could watch Dark Water again with the luscious Jennifer Connelly
