@abcd I'm just curious on how are you guys going to get SAW 2 early? Is it just me, but for some reason I like SAW more than SAW2 (I enjoyed part 2, but not as great as the first one). Maybe it's because of Donnie and that big muscular dude, I thought their acting was kinda poor.
Little bit of topic here, but I'm going to watch King Kong on the big screen this Friday and I'll let y'all know how it goes. King Kong is definitely one of my most anticipated movies of 2005.
yeah let us know how it is, i cant wait to see that one myself. i normally cant stand remakes but that one can pull it off if they did it right. i just hope when they are on the island at first, and they hook up with the natives, they dont make it where the natives have this big huge fence to keep kong out, yet they make freaking big huge doors as well!! i never understood that. besides, it's a gorilla, like it couldn't get over a fence!
@darthnip I hope it's good, especially with Jack, Nicole, Adrian and directed by Peter Jackson. My 7 years old son can't wait because he wants to see King Kong vs Sharp Tooth (Dinosaur) hehehe.
it will probably be good, judging from the previews. allthough there have been alot of movies lately that the previews were the best parts, lets hope it's not one of those.
I hope it's not one of those too, but you know Peter jackson is pretty sharp though -- he's got the knowledge and credits.
Sorry to say this Darth, but your sig is driving me insane!!! Not sure I am keen on scrolling sigs, I always find them too distracting.
A couple of things--did anyone like the Charles Bronson "Death Wish" movies--gratuitous and violent retribution against those who deserve it! Like in DW-2--when he asked the guy "you believe in Jesus...well, you'reg onna meet him!" BANG!--or--his long distance marksmanship with that big, long pistol that he killed "the Giggler" with in DW-3. Another thing--I have mentioned how much I liked "War of the Worlds" before, and last night I watched it again. I saw something I had missed in my previous viewings---when the alien creatures (damn good creative beings!) are looking around the basement and you could see them clearly--they had 2 little arms/hands on the front--2 larger arms that they walked on....AND only ONE BACK LEG!! They were tripods just like the killer-machines. You could easily miss it--but--it was a cool way to explain why they chose a tripod design in the weapons.
just saw "The Hurricane" with Denzel Washington. its not another perfect storm movie, its actually about boxing, very interesting and good movie.
pulsar - yeah i figured you'd appreciate the slow down of the scroll, zippyd fixed it up for me, and i changed it to his version because we cant having you go blind or anything.
I watched "The Island" last night -- it was alright, but I fell sleep on my leather sofa. I'm going to try to watch it again and see how it turns out.
I wasn't worried about going blind, I was more worried about the flashing inducing a psychotic episode, going on a killing spree in my town, being pursued by police, eventually captured & jailed for life.
Pulsar--the messages were in the movie's frames...a new and infinitely more sinister kind...triggered by certain sounds. Carry earplugs with you at ALL times.
I saw the dukes of hazard today. It was o.k but once again it was one of those movies that youd rather pause the screen and look and Jessica Simpsons the whole time instead of watching the movie.
