Are to a swap magic or a modchip guy?

    I use Swap Magic to play backups to keep the kids from messing up the originals.

    While I would prefer a modchip, I got my PS2 at the launch so it is nearly 5 years old now. Whenever it dies and I have to replace it I will probably go with a mod chip, but I can't see sinking money into one on my current PS2 since it is so old.

    I'd get a modchip for the PS3 it is supposed to be backwards compatible so why not just wait and get it done at once

    Yep fliptop for me even though i hardly ever use Swap Magic any more.

    modchip for me. it is a lot easier once its installed. installing is the unfun part.

    Was going to get it done to my slimline but then i thought i may aswel wait for PS3 and get one for that :p

    @killerc, i've already mentioned that I got a modchip, i used to have swap magic with slide card. First 2 days with the slide card were tricky after that the whole thing could be done in 15 seconds (faster than some people on a fliptop) :p

    I prefer the modchip as I have 3 modded PS2...well 4 but one is not working at the moment.

    im swap magic. also when the ps3 comes out its gonna be a long long long while before theres a modchip cause everything is new, plus how can u backup the games unless u buy a 1000-2000 dollar blu-ray drive

    True deadbeat9 the burner will cost alot but isnt it backward compatible with ps2 n ps1 disc
