You will need to take out the demo movies, just delete the contents of the folder but leave the folder there. You can also remove the .xbe files related to live play you do not need them. Just keep the default.xbe file and delete the others. I have this game backed up to a dvd no problem.
Ok i'll try than and tell you what happens if it reaches the size or not and this is for the brute force right? Cause i only see the demo folder in this game and none in t3
Ok i removed the demos in the video folder and the extra .xbe files and left only the default and the size is now 4.81gb which is still too big you sure you haven't missed out something that i should remove?
Remove the FX, MECH, and VIDEO directories. There is also another xbe which I cannot recall the name of... but leave the default.xbe there.
Hi peoples, for T3 you need to just go to T3EFS_XBOX and delete the whole FMV_PAL folder it'll shrink it down to about 3.5 gigs and your back-up will work great. This is for U.S. version.
Enter The Matrix has been discussed before. I cannot recall the files to be removed but if you search the forum I know you can find it.
If anyone's interested the mitsubishi dvd+r will work in an unmodded xbox v1.0 and also mitsubishi's cheaper brand will work aswell. Bailey
So I did some research on the internet and I think I know enough to say that my xbox has a samsung DVD drive. There are so many fourms and posts out there that have all different opinions about what it can and can't read. I recently tried to back up a game of mine(thus following a guide very carefully) and after putting it on a DVD+R, it won't work. I am going to try next a DVD+RW because I've read that media works better than just the +R. I have two questions: 1. What can the samsung DVD drive read? 2. What kind of media should I burn it on? That being, Memorex or TDK etc... I am currently using a Liteon DVD+R/RW burner, and I know that i've followed the guide correctly and I just think my xbox DVD rom isn't reading the burnt DVD's I put in there. It's a mystery to me that on some posts people tell me that kind of drive can read everything and on others, it can everything but +R media. I'd like to put this issue to rest. E-mail me if you know anything about this at seansinerius@cox.net Thanks!
I have a Samsung Drive and only -R's work on mine. I used the Grade A Mirror Playinum -R's which are sold on Bigpockets.co.uk. Hope this helps
