    @saugmon

    Yeah I burn those TY T02s at 8X always, no coasters, on LG Ext 2166 and BenQ 1650 drives. Luckily I bought up some 8X MIJ +R Sonys that code out as Yuden000-TO2s, because I have 1 disc left of my original TO2 TYs.

    Is the drive light suppose to stay on when there is a disc in the drive?

    Yes. The light is on when a disc is present and blinks when ripping or burning.

    Is anybody having trouble getting the BQ 1650 to recognize (burn)2.4X Fujifilm DL +R discs. I tried to burn one last night. Decrypter balked even tho it was showing the media in identification area. When I tried it in my 2166D LG burner. Decrypter started right away and burned that DL Fuji. I didn't buy these(gift) and I was just using the 3 I had up. But was disappointed that the BQ failed the burn. It has no trouble with Verb DLs. I'm starting to think the LG is as good as the BQ.
