so how much is the sub a year thanks

 

depeneds who you get the sub from, you could buy it month by month, quarterly, every 6 months, or yearly. I bought mine for 12 months, paid in advance, worls out £10.20 a month. mine is a local dealer thats y i paid in advance, so if your buying it from the net especially, its recommended you buy month by month or quarterly becos quality and stability of service may not be guaranteed, so you may lose out. I've had mine for 3 months now and its been great, all channels work great, no freezing. Last week i had no channels for a full day, as they were upgrading the server, but has been ok since then.

 

Mine was £250 all in for a year! That included the blade and sub!

 

It's a great box mate! I'm delighted with mine! I can also watch all my movies I've downloaded to my hard drive through the USB port on the back!

Yes the box itself is excellent, brilliant high quality pictures, user friendly.

 

more I hear of the blade, the more inclined I am to get one, seems to be a good all round box and with some great reports coming in on pic quality etc

do you have to have a sky installed to the house before getting one and where would you go to renew the sub?

 

dont have Sky, but buy a dish n cables for under 50 Euros now, get it fitted and off ya go

 

is the dish somthing you can fit yourself or is it a proffesinal job due to where you and carnt position a dish?

 

how do you Pause during recording? because when you click the pause button remote, it doesnt pause the recording, it just pauses the actual movie or whatever your watching, any ideas any1 please?

I take it you have a Hard Drive plugged onto it? if not it will freeze the pic, but sound will keep going

hi guys, i have a similar problem when it comes to Pausing while im recording something. I have a USB hard drive connected to box, it records fine, but when i want to pause during the recording, if there was a commercial, and if i click on the pause button on the remote, it will pause the film but not the recording. has any1 else has this problem? other than that, the actual recording and playback is just great quality.

 

can ya format the HD in the Blade box? to fat 32?

 

yes you can...i have formatted in blade...tried 3 diffrent hd, still same

Dubfella, the box itself has the facility to format a usb hard drive that is in fat32, (whiping everything clean, on the usb hard drive)

Dubfella, can you try record something, and try to PAUSE the recording and then start recording again after 30 seconds or so (i dont mean stop the recording, Pause)
