All tube TVs, and in fact all standard definition TV is interlaced. The screen itself has 480 lines, but they are only refreshed alternately, i.e. 1,3,5,7,9,etc. The next frame refreshes the even numbers, 2,4,6,8,10 etc.
is it possible to use a GeIL Black Dragon 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory if my system has DDR 400 (PC 3200) memory now
No. DDR1 and DDR2 are not interchangeable unless you have a board that allows the use of both. This is very rare, and the boards that do allow it don't permit both types to be used simultaneously.
Well if you're not changing your motherboard, there's no need to buy memory, as you already have the best you can get, unless you feel you don't have enough. The system performance is very poor as it is, so you'd probably do best out of a complete upgrade, but if you do still want RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145579
i went to crucial.com and the said if i got more memory it would improve my system performance and i was going to get a new computer and this is going to be for my kids and there movies so i need a bigger hard drive so i need a cable to connect the to hard drives together.
Well of course the crucial site said that, it's job is to sell you RAM However, I would agree, 1GB or 2GB would be better than 512MB at least. Given the price, you may as well go with 2GB (note, remove the RAM you already have before putting the new stuff in) I'm not sure what you mean about the hard drives. Can you explain a bit better?
my hard drive is only 160 g right now and free space is down to mb because i download so many movies.
Well you don't necessarily need to buy a new PC, you can just stick another hard drive in there. You only need to buy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136111 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145579 If you only have one cable connecting both your CD drive and Hard disk drive, then you'll also need another IDE cable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812105910 This assumes your motherboard has two IDE ports. It probably does, but if it turns out it doesn't, an IDE card to add another port you can use is less than $20 should you need one.
i want to get a new computer and give the other one to the kids so what would you suggest for a new computer under 400 dollars.
why is everything so complicated mostly ps2 games and maybe pc games like resident evil 4 and 5 nothing to complicated.
PS2 games on a PC? I'm not sure exactly how demanding those are. Here's a rough $400 build, that will come to less after rebates. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116072 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128356 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136152 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102724 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371005 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042
