i ran it through recode and all it did was analyze and encode. it didn't give me and option to burn.

i have an external dvd burner and it was pluged in and turned on. i am running it through nero rom. is this what i should be doing?

yes...it just didn't give me an option to choose the external burner. i think is was just a fluke, but it wtill was a concern. i will keep you informed to the saga as it unfolds.

if you use dvd shrink in theory you could put as many episodes you want on a dvd, but at the expense of quality.

    @ SUKIE:

thats not entirely true.Fair enough most files need to be converted to mpeg2 before you burn to disc, but this doesnt include the new divx players. You dont need to convert the divx player files as they will player them as straight raw divx files

the information on this page is aimed at someone who obviously hasn't got a divx capable dvd player.
