not fully clear how to prepare source for DVD Shrink when use it in re-author mode: I have a ton of VOB files, should i put all files in one folder, rename all files like VTS_01_001.VOB, VTS_01_002.VOB, etc then process that folder with IFOEdit to make the new IFO files, ot put every VOB in separate folder and use IFOEdit to create IFO file for each VOB?

Try each one in it's own folder.
Are they all the same aspect ratio?
Do they have the same audio type and bitrate?

they have different resolution, frame rate, audio type/bitrate (29.97fps, 25.00fps, 720x480, 720x576, 544x576,Dolby AC3 48000Hz stereo 224Kbps, PCM 48000Hz stereo 1536Kbps..)but i will select same types only. does audio also need be same bitrate? So it should be the sequence of folders: video1 with VTS_01_001.VOB, video2 with VTS_01_002.VOB, etc?

They can be different as long as they have a different VTS.
    VTS_01_001.VOB
    VTS_02_001.VOB
    VTS_03_001.VOB
    VTS_04_001.VOB

You have a mixture of PAL and NTSC video. You cannot put them on one DVD, does not work.
You have to convert to either one first.

You can name your folders anything you like.
