    Hi NYBrit,

    I'm sure you do have other issues, but that should only be in the burn stage.

    It would be interesting to see what results you get if you burn to the Hard Drive as a Video_TS folder and see if it plays back properly. I have only the two systems to work with here, and can not be 100% sure that my surmise is correct.

    But if others find that with an MCE 2005 system they are able to burn content or write content to the Hard DRive in a Video_TS folder that has both the Video and Audio syncing up properly, then that would go a long way to helping us determine if there is an issue with MCD 2004 systems that create DVR-MS content.

    Since you have kindly attempted to help, I am pleased to advise that my change of drive has also allowed me to burn a dvr.ms file through Nero. I haven't tried the editing yet, but it appears that the problem was fundamentally with the drive and not your software.
