Channel List for UPC Swords.

I got one from a guy in Dublin 4 weeks ago , am useing it in Galway works perfect 36 HD channels , got sick of s€y share was freezeing all the time Tryed loads of different lines , peace at last !

I'm using the 8840 but must get another 8200 as I sold mine on and made a bit of money hehe...

 

Yep mine is the same amiko 8240 , it's working fine so far ..... !

 

hope to be getting one, just want ye to confirm that it still working and not paying the money for a door stop!!!

working pefect for me, some glitches but overall very stable, 99% of chanells!! impressed!!

If you read around the net you will see that S*Y is on the way out
HD is going hard pairing and if you look at SD there starting to go blank

It's only a matter of time...............

I also see people with DM500's why use these as they are only SD
some people in for a quick kill..............

They said that sky would be gone by July and its still running, as now they have backtracked and stopped replacing the thompson boxes, so i would say the chance of sky c/s going now is slim, they are too afraid people will change over to cable with all the pushing they are doing so they have dropped the push, the only problem now with the thompson boxes is they wont receive the HD or the on demand, and lots of people dont have HD so its not going to matter.

If you look around other forums to will see there up to something with St as they have already taken off a few channeks
Like rte2 and a few kids channels
When it's time they will push that button
Just a matter of time

 

mine is working fine lots of channels have moved around check the new freq lol

 

They have not moved if you read around you will see there are problems
At the moment with oscam to csp there is already a new version of oscam
Just waiting for csp to be updated

You should have a read around the net and you will see what's going on

 

lol i am very aware of what is going on believe me the scare tactics have been going on for years, as i say my box is working 100% with no channel loss so if people are having problems i suggest they find a new provider get test lines from various sources.

And maybe some people using oscam are having problems some boxes dont work well with oscam, maybe people should revert to a server that uses cccam or find another source, at the present time as far as i am aware there is no problems cards are updating fine.

 

mine is fine also, all chans working and none missing since the rejig of the line up, all kids, sports, RTE the lot, either someones been told porkies or another push on here for a hard sale...........mmmmm I wonder.......

 

well i got alltogether 3 amiko boxes and all good, very stable, all UPC chans are there bar some premium (adult) but overall very impressed!! thanks papa...

tried posting this question already,
just wondering as i saw these amiko boxes working over xmas, does anyone know do they work down the country outside of the big smoke.

i'd be very interested to see if they did and how to get one,
i was reading about getting sattellite box and it sounds very hard to set up compared to this,

 

nothing hard about sticking a line onto a box, takes all of 2 mins and works the same as this and shed load more chans than on UPCEEE

Thats through but with the way things are going with S** its hard to tell if it will be around much longer

I know there is a fix for Oscam at present but once S** increase the ECM's again this will cause big problems with freezing at what happened before Christmas

People who use CSP are having problems when S** play around with the ECM's on channels like what is happening with the likes of RTE and S** Sports

Saying all that YES the Amiko work very well on Cable and Terrestrial
Cable will be around for a long while yet as for Terrestrial its only a matter of time before U** discontinues the service.

 

Terrestrial will be around for a while yet at least we have options ......
