Channels gone to N3 this evening NTL Dublin

I would imagine so reswob unless they want to run the risk of being cut off and then the box would be useless to them mate.

I just got hold of an N*L Pace Ditigal box with a nagravision card. I set this up but it is telling me that the card is not activated. I have the basic package. Is there anyway I can activated the card without contacting them.

dont multi post and no what you suggest is hacking a sub box, which is not allowed to be discussed

 

The multi box option with a mate is a good idea to take down the cost. We're discussing getting 4 boxes at 1 address on paper which will bring the total cost down to about €25 pm for movies and sports and disney.

Is there a way of doing this with satellite? It would be nice to get all the Fta channels too. When you buy sky multiroom do you get a card with each box?

 

not possible with sky, unless ya all live next dooor to each other, but ya still pay 15 per box i think,

 

Not too sure about the multiroom but if one person has multiroom you can then sign into sky player and give your mates the sign in name and password and they can have it on pc/pc to tv.
You need to be subbed to Sky Sports and have mutliroom to be able to do this in Ireland.

just wondering mickah,what if my mate was living half a mile away from me and he had an old dish on the side of his house[sly]would the multiroom viewing box work there.Im presuming each box has its own card?

Thats it now for upccc in ireland, lights out ,the last few channels gone sly sp news,and all factual programmes on krypt eveything gone to n3.Now maybe the fun begins.

can anyone confirm if NTL MMDS is gone also. From my reading of the many posts it seems they are all related to NTL cable.

 

yes N** MMDS is the same as the cable they have gone a long while back

 

Does that mean all channels are gone other than freeview or can you see the basic sub channels such as RTE2, TV3 etc.. Thanks

 

i would say you can for the moment but they will also go soon i would say as they are not FTA

 

Thanks to all who helped in the past with the boxes in Ireland, hopefully something will come up in the future to fix this problem...........
just to mention, the dreambox 500 still works perfect in Northern Ireland on cable,giveng every channel available..sports movies included. so theres an option for anyone looking a few squids back for the box.
