Nope, 32-bit colour is as high as it goes. With the PSU, the correct way to install it is so the large fan is pointing downwards so it sucks air in from the case. It should never need to be installed so the fan is obstructed. As for the CPU, there are a lot of games where a single core will work fine, but Crysis is not one of them. For Crysis, Supreme Commander, and a few other recent games, a dual core is a necessity.
but i can attempt to runit cant i? like, its not going to damege my cpu will it? i got good cooling thx
ok thanks weeel, if your not busy or nothin, could you give me a bit of help with overclocking my cpu? if its 2.8 GHz, would 3.0GHz be ok? a good idea? Ive never overcloked CPUs before, only graphic cards... Altho my bios wont allow me to, i could use a program to do it... not that im gona play crysis or anything, but id like to drain every bit of performance outa my computer as possible thanks sammorris
Software overclocking doesn't usually give very good results. You can try it, but take it very slowly.
ok cool, i guess i could give it a go..... could you recomend me some sofware and mabey where i would enter my motherboard? tanks if mines 2.8GHz, what should i take it up to first? mabey 2.9? or 3.0GHz? tanks again
I've not done it myself, so I can't offer you detailed help, but the program of choice seems to be CPUFSB
ok awsome, ill givit a try thanks for the billionth time....... this has absoultly nothing to do with this thread but do you know GML?
hmmm...on CPUZ it says under the motherboard manufaturer: Acer but that overclocking prog doesnt hva eacer as a mainboard manafacturer... anything else i could do?
I'm afraid I can't really help much beyond this point, I have never tried overclocking prebuilt PCs or software overclocks, oh and no, I've never heard of GML. One other thing, forum signatures are a maximum size of 50KB, yours is more than triple that, you'd be wise to cut it down a bit.
