Ddigital DUO+ receiver

its his roouter or he needs to change he cables he is connecting to the router, no lights on the router indicate a problem

 

good morning guys, ive got another 2 of these boxes what i havent opened, but if i put software on them i cannot return them, is there anyway to get the software off them, also in system information what does this mean module : open cam ver:01.56 mean

 

1. on a usb stick firstly make sure its formatted to fat 32 then download the image to flash.

2. Plug the box in and the usb stick and fire it up you will come to the Channel manager screen go to third icon on the right (Box with a musical note) and select usb
highlight Ddigital- duo_2.12.ups click ok button on remote select sw upgrade when complete the channel manager will come back

3. select auto search the on symbol rate select area ie 6952 then select search the box will now start to scan for channels once completed press the ok button.

4. Plug the network cable in select options from the main menu and select network the select ip setup this will confirm you have a valid ip.
Now select net application and change type to Ustream for uk then exit to tv screen

5. Press the ok button on remote then the yellow sort button select the way you want the channels listing and thats it you are done.

6. Pressing the right and left button will change the cats ie sport etc and the Ddigital does auto sort the category's sports movies etc

Have given em that a few times, its his router or his internet set up that is causing it

 

just said on another post aswell try a different lan cable

also even with a factory reset the firmware is still on it and shop can still tell

all in all you will not be stuck with it if you dont get it sorted

 

hi guys ive fixed my box it was a faulty usb connecter, ive got all 3 boxes up and running now thankyou very much people

yeah yeah thats me lol you mean shardend balti lol, when i plug my usb connector in it says not connected but when i plug another 1 in the box connects straight away i dont have to press anythink it comes on, but i carnt understand why the lights come on the usb connector means its faulty

 

downloaded file for dd
windows wont or cant open it is this right
have put it on memory stick put it on box but getting no channels when i scan
is this me not getting file down properly

 

why would you open the file with windows? Follow the tut I gave and follow it to a T, downloading and flashing this box is easy when you follow whats written

i have put file on to box scanned and found no channels
and i have used the tut on here

 

so what you scan on? 6887? 6952? have you got a live cable feed coming in? Have you got the box conneted into the correct input, Loop in? if your finding no chans then its not set up correctly at al, regardless if they are on N1 or N3, so I suggest you look at your set up and make sure that you have anything done correctly

 

got live feed as i had other box working from it
and still getting no channels when i scan on any frequency

Hi does anybody know if i can load a usb lan driver onto the ddigital box, ive got 2 faulty usb connectors and the ip setup is all 0.0.0.0 but ive tried another usb connector from my friends ddigital and my box came straight on

 

as in load a program to the box?

 

yeah mickah ive got 2 faulty usb connectors and ive brought 1 today but its got a driver disk with it and the lights wont come on the usb connector if the drivers are not installed on the box

 

no mate, you dont try to load anything to a box unless its the correct firmware you will brick it, I suggest you go back to where ya got em from and replace them, the drivers are for a PC not a cable box

 

its works in dublin ireland
