    It is hard to improve upon a masterpiece :) Myself, I like the gold ring/glow. It's like he's squeezing it, and its burning him. And he almost seems like he's reacting to it :)

    Here's a little something just messin around(I may just upload this via interfacelift). I was going nuts in the custom shapes tab, trying to find the superman symbol. Apparently doesn't come with photoshop!!! I couldn't believe that! I did however find one via some searching :D

    Smallville's right around the corner...

    And a couple of filters and touchups...

    I think I know why photoshop wouldn't implement the Superman symbol. Its owned by DC, or simply someone else, which means it would be infringing. At least I would imagine.

    Here are some links. I cropped the original for the 1280 resolution. So its not quite the same, but doesn't look distorted in the resize. And there is also a link for the full on raw image. warning, 2560 is 1.5Mb

    I did a little fiddling with "Superman" because I just installed Corel Paint Shop Pro Ultimate Photo X2. I raised it onto a button and then turned up the intensity of the Blue and Red, so it screws with your eyes more, messed with the various aspects of the sharpness I think I've given it a bit more of a 3D effect, than anything else!

    russ the red seems a tad to "rough" IMO, i think the "fuzziness" of omegas gives it a niceer feel.

    Let me have a copy of the original. This one looks quite good blown up to a wallpaper, but his original will scale better and should look cleaner! TIA!
