null modem cable

 

i upgraded firmware to my digivox to (2.8) but it not autorolling any help will be app

 

hi lads need help and this is the best place for it ive got a krypt view 1000 i think is there a special menu on it and if so whats the code.plus is there a down load for auto roll for it.

 

2 things u can do if codes change and it stays on 0% update ,try a different channel,wait 15 secs to see if it moves,try another channel,or power off box then on will force update.

thanks it did pulled the plug out &back in &it upgraded thanks

 

digi box goes to upgrad then sets on 0% & flashes (the code are o/k) but on channels just say scram "any help app??" have upgrade to 2.800-- framware box

 

when u up grade to v.2.8 u have to rescan for channels and switch emu back on,menu-system info-ok1004-key emu to on-exit out of system.
if codes change u will get bad or scrambled,and if stuck on updating 0%,repeat as above post

 

yes all is on but very slow it took 2hr to updrade lastnight

 

i have a digivox with SOFTWARE V02-2.500b. Can someone advise what firware i need to download in order for this box to regain its code after ntl change them?

 

vers 2.800 works

 

i have 3 digivox's which i'm trying to upgrade to ver 2.800, i done one of them not a bother but when i try the other 2 it just comes up 'fail to update flash!' on downloader 10. any help please... i've also tried a s/w transfer off the one i done but this aint working either...

 

did com port change?,was box in on position?code or channell should work with transfer if u know that cable null modem has worked before.
good box with info,user setup ok sw transfer select code,second box null modem connected and on,move it away from good box or turn it away,first box click to transfer and u should it it transfering when finished both boxes reboot

 

Hi, want to update my digivox to version 2800 have 2500 at present. Bought a RS232 null modem cable but have no port on my laptop for it. I have a VGA port( 14 pins ) so I bought a connection to change the RS232 to this type of connection.. have downloaded the bin file and the downloader 10 but when i try to download the file it's saying 'can't open serial port'. I assume this is the wrong port so it's not picking up the box.. Any suggestions?

 

Where can i get the CD that I need to upgrade to v2.800. I've read the instructions on Page 24...

 

does ur laptop have a usb port as u can get an adapter to use but might or might not work,pc with serial port easy way to do it.

 

no cd required all in eamos library on download link

Does the Digivox work with S*Y. Currently on N*L and looking at switching.
