hi some help here please ive got a kryptview i need help finding update prgrames for it

 

no cd and wrong firmware use vers2.800,app highlighted yes,select correct com port,browse select v2.800 ,click on file to open,download.this is same cable used to flash other boxes?

 

cactikid. the same thing comes up 4 me and i have done exactly as u said but it still says "failed to updated flash" can u help me?

 

are u using a serial or a null modem cable as incorrect cable ,flash will not work

 

all in eamos library in downloads

 

hi lads and ladies can anyone help me iv downloaded v2800 onto my friends digivox and it still says 1 jan 07 would that be right is there no 08 firmware?

Thanks for the helpful advice for upgrading to 2.8 Took a while to understand the instructions but got it in the end...

 

ye its possibe that i could be using the wrong cable i just got it off my uncle and he used it for his. but its a different box so im unshure. i think i might just get the right 1 in a shop. but this cable fits into my comuter and its the only free space at the back of my comp.

Im using a RS 232 cable I have flashed Starviews with this cable but is not working on digivox's

 

Receiver says CHdL

when i turn on my Digivox all i get on the receiver screen is CHdL and nothing comes on does anyone know what this means because i can't get outta this its seems stuck like this and no matter what i do this comes on the receiver screen nothing comes on the television screen at all please help someone there is no documentation on the site for this...

 

it is just a bad flash,reflash again with vers 2.800.box powered off then on hit download to force it to reflash and when it says download complete and box reboots safe to disconnect cables,if u use this cable for starviews u have correct cable

 

does he have a box that he flashed yes ,then right cable.
all boxes the same rs232 socket,however pc might have a serial socket for a printer??do u have old or new pc as older ones should have rs232 serial port for updating boxes ,new pc usually usb

 

I still have the same problem with my service provider. i tried to change it to telewest and then enter the new codes but it's still resorts back to ntl which appears to be the first service provider. flashing the box isnt an option for me as i'm not paying £20 for the cable in maplin....lol any help will be appreciated, thanx

 

ye i got my comp like 3 or 4 years ago so i think it has ther right connection on it. ye i dunno it just keeps sayin failed to update flash. if u cant help its all good. u tried.

 

the lead u have has flashed boxes before? does he have 2 leads.
have u tried changing com 1 to 2 to 3 etc to see which one works,
com 1-fail ,com 2-fail ,com 3 download,a matter of selecting correct com port.

 

Make sure its picking up your COM PORT 1 on your pc settings
