Will do Got a response from the supplier and they asked if anyone in the Kilkenny area could provide information on at least one frequency from an existing working Eurovox TX stb. His suggestion is that once this is known then those experiencing the "No signal" "No channels found" should add it to a manual scan and see what happens.
hi cwkk and redrebel. sorry for slow reply, working. my supplier sent me digivoxt as direct replacemnt for failed eurovoxtx. no luck as yet with manual scan. will let you know of any progress.thanks for your help fergusrb.
hi guys.dont want to sound silly but is it possible that your supplier could have changed from terrestrial mmds to cable mmds without changing their own box
hi everyone. made some progress today.put coax cable feed in antenna(top corner of box)with v03-3.0000t firmware installed, turned antenna power to on and then done a manual scan starting with 506mhz,then514,522,530,538,546,554,562,570,578,586,594,602,618,626 and finally 634mhz as mgb17 said earlier in thread.now i have a couple of good channels but mostly scrambled or bad channel comes up.might have to do channel dump. let you know how i get on.
cactikid your a genius!thanks very much. have all channels now. just no channel names but thats no problem.hope you get all that cwkk and redrebel. if you have any questions ill try to help but one thing is for sure, digivoxt will work with communal mmds feed.
hi kevcle, well done, tried a manual scan, unable to get beyond 378mhz, must be doing something wrong again.will keep trying. thanks for all the help, to you and the others.
i had box powered off for a good while[overnight], firmware pre loaded [v03.30000t],coax in antenna not antenna in,put antenna power on, then went to manual scan starting with 506 mhz, wait for signal level and quality percentages to rise at bottom of screen[somewhere between 70 or 80%, only then ok.continue this right thru other values stated above and then after some channels found go sys info,1004,key emu to on, then all channels should be there.as some seniors said above its trial and error.keep trying ,best of luck.
done all you said exactly and it worked. im delighted. thanks a mil to you and the rest especially cactikid
hi guys, just a quick question. can sv 4 firmware be changed over to starview mmds firmware, i.e. useing the stb for dvb-t rather than dvb-c. thanks
firmware is made for 1 box only it is not universal,dvb/t firmware is different than dvb/c so do not use it,correct box needed for correct signal.
Hi all, I'd a perfectly working digivox-t and a friend bought one and he wanted to see if it worked so tried it in my house and it worked, but when I connected my one back up, it just said no signal and wouldnt come back. Any idea why? Do i just put the firmware back on again?
sounds like the signal is not getting to the box.. is it connected back correctly at the back of the box?
Hi, i'm trying to set up my digivox t box i got it from iwantabox.com and it came with a RS232 cable but i bought a RS232 to USB to connect with my PC. I have tried opening downloader 10 and find the file but as soon as i hit download it starts but after that the on downloading progess comes up but never seems to start the download and just seems to be stuck. the firmware is V3300. anyone got any ideas?? cheers
You need to select the correct com port in the downloader. to find the com port right click on my computer and select properties - select hardware -select device manager, find the device (prolific usb com adapter.....) click properties and go advanced properties, change com port to either 1 2 3 or 4 then in the downloader select the same port to match the usb/serial adapter
