Uploaded those Bouquets - thanks Some channels - movies, Sports have an SNR of 40-odd% but don't come up Others have an SNR of 0% and I get an error of 'Tune failed' Satfinder currently as follows: SNR: 34/35% AGC: 0% BER: 5382 (number varies though) Lock option checked
I removed the signal amp and the satfinder jumped to 99% & 83% No channels appear to be working - when I click on a station, the SNR at the top is 85% and the EPG data is displayed, but nothing is appearing on screen I'm going to try another automatic scan and see if that makes any difference.
Rescanned after removing the signal amp, found 1200 channels, restarted the CAM and 99% of channels working fine. There are a handful of channels not working - they all have the same error - 'Service not found (SID not found in PAT' Someone mentioned to me that I may need to edit something for these channels in Dreamup??
I get that "SID not found in PAT" msg for some channels, one's that don't broadcast 24/7,...go your basicaly sorted now ?
I was until about half an hour ago. I was watching a movie and the picture froze for a few minutes, changed channel and no picture displayed. Restarted, rebooted, powered off and left off for ten minutes. No channels working now - restarted the CCcam, Satfinder is fine, nothing changed in Tuner config I'm getting errors like - 'Service unavailable. Check Tuner configuration' No EPG data is displayed when I try and open a channel. The same thing happened last Wednesday evening too.
if your on a share press the blue button & check the ecm time at the bottom, the lower the better, then press yellow then 1 & go down to servers & press OK you will see if the servers are online or not,..although your dish might be slighty loose & shifting in the wind..
I checked that and there was a message 'No ECM info available' I checked Satfinder and levels were up in the 90% ballpark I tried a re-scan and now no channels are being found I'm tearing my hair out!!
Thats probably the last resort - when I reseat the Tuner - is it simply connected with a male/female connection or is it welded?
the tuner module is solderd onto a small PCB which slots into the main board, you said other boxes work on the same dish ?
Other boxes work fine on the same dish. Forgive the stupid question, but if the Tuner is welded - how do I remove?
the bottom pic above shows the gold fingers which slot in the main board, I was just reading here it could be an over heating problem.
I have the cover removed and unscrewed the screw from the back of the tuner, but I dont want to force it out. Looking out the back right of the box with the two tuner parts (input & output) on the top right - which side do I apply pressure to, to remove it?
The problem was I hadn't removed the back plate. I was still able to unseat and reseat enough Powered it back on and a scan found all channels and it seems to be working fine now - fingers crossed Thanks for all the assistance
