Holy crap whatever I did to make it work worked. I think I reinstalled my codecs five or six times, finally it works in TMPGEnc. I'll try VirtualDub for the better quality. ahiah, did you get it to register before? If not, try putting it into a folder without spaces in it, and it should work. That's how I got it to work. Hell you probably can do it with spaces but I'm not exactly the most computer smart in command line ;/
