I just used the update to do Doomsday to burn with nero. Got a good dvd and no problem. It did take it a while to open the disc.

I did Doomsday with Fab also. No problems there. DVD Decrypter can handle this one also. Some are having problems with the program shutting down during transcoding. I never transcode but I'll try it after DVD Rebuilder finishes this movie.

    Edit:
The issue seems to be with the movie Harold & Kumar.

I also did straw dogs with the update and used the VSO burn engine included. Said burn was unsuccessful, but anydvd recognized and powerdvd play as did standalone.

    Hmmm...odd indeed.

I don't typically use DvdFab to do my transcoding, i'll have to give it a shot, just to see what it does.

These last few updates are coming so fast I am getting a little behind. Which may not be all bad considering a few were having problems with 5.0.7.5. I am glad you guys are staying on top of it. Going to download 5.0.7.6 right now.

Do yall actually use DVDFab to do the encoding and burning too or do you use other programs after the rip? Just want to know. I am using it more and more to do the whole shebang as opposed to AnyDVD and Nerorecode about 50-50 now where it was probably Recode 80-20 with old pc. Just curious I find both products adequate. I know I should be using rebuilder tho.

I do both also. I can do a customized rip, shrink, & burn with dvdfab platinum or I can do dvdfab platinum, fixvts, dvd shrink, & burn. About 50/50.

You can let DVDFab burn the disc for you using ImgBurn or Nero. I have only selected ImgBurn and works great.

Yeah I have Fab set to burn with NeroBRom. It seems that when I set it to ImgBurn I had to manually start it. I'll have to try that over and see. Think I'll do that now.
