DVDFab, if set to burn with ImgBurn (on my pc), you have to start ImgBurn manually; not so with NeroBRom.

I only use Fab when it's absolutely necessary or to compare rips. I always start out with RipIt4Me. If it says that DVD Shrink can open it, I close the program and use DVD Decrypter. I always run the rip through PgcEdit and make any corrections that are needed and then cleanup with FixVTS. If compression is needed, I always use DVD Rebuilder Pro and I always burn with ImgBurn. I have DVDFab Platinum because my son felt I should have it so he bought it for me.

I have not had any problems with ImgBurn and DVDFab as a one step process. I also did not install VSO Burning Engine.

The vso engine does very nice burns. Very nice, and rarely do I get a coaster.

I install VSO; but have yet to actually use it, so i cannot comment on whether or not it's any good.

Perhaps i'll try it soon just to see how it fares. Maybe on something silly, like Starship Troopers 3. :)

"We're gonna make fun of him"

Yes yes; in an attempt to get back on topic a bit.

I'll try VSO just to see what i think of it. Maybe one of these flicks that don't require a whole lot of compression; i'll just let Fab rip, encode, and burn.

Then repeat using my normal process and run a comparison.
