The last official was January 22. Now, almost 3 months later, Feng is still releasing betas with wildly updated numbering?

What kind of release paradigm goes from official 5.2.3.2 to 5.3.2.1 beta?

    WTF

The new version does not have BD. If you need the BD option, use the beta.

I downloaded this new beta version, and it definitely appears to analyze and process quicker than versions that I have used in the past. Advice though: which settings would you suggest to use if I'm attempting to backup from one drive to another to optimize quality, or would this more likely be achieved by putting it onto hard drive space and then backing it up? My specs are below in the signature field.

If you're looking to optimize quality, the rest of your process needs examination.

A well documented way to do this, and achieve great quality results is as follows:
    Rip to HDD with DvdFab

Process the files with either VobBlanker or FixVts (my preference is VobBlanker)

    Encode with DvdRebuilder then burn.

    DVDFab 6 is out!
It's the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.

For now, DVDFab 6 contains five options: "DVD to DVD", "DVD to Mobile", "Blu-ray to Blu-ray", "File to Mobile" and "File Mover".

You can try any option 30 days for free, and the time only count down when you use it first time.

For registered users of DVDFab Platinum/Gold, your key is still valid for version 6, and all features are same as version 5 or more than it.

DVDFab 6.0.0.0 Beta is out (April 27, 2009):

    http://redirectingat.com/?id=49X85&....com/download/DVDFab6000Beta_avangate-689.exe

    What's New:

    New: Updated user interface.
    New: Updated language files.

Please tell us what you think for the new version, thank you very much.

    Best Regards,
    Fengtao

It was also stated on another forum, that some of the options you paid for in 5 were still showing up as trial version when used in 6. They let it known that an update fixing it will be released soon.

Yeah it showed my name the first time i ran it, since then it's reverted to Trial info. Shall await the fix then, i haven't got any discs that need ripping at the moment. And yes it co-exists fine with 4.1.2.0 free, 4.1.2.0 Platinum and 5.x Platinum. Nice as i've been using 4.1.20 quite a lot lately for ripping old movies

Mine registers fine. Just the mobile options need to be corrected. I have no doubt that it will be soon.
I've also noticed that it no longer says Platinum.

Are there many benefits for using 6.0 considering 5.2.5.0 was released not too long ago, other than having the added blu-ray option? If you're not trying to copy blu-rays currently, then the prior release should be sufficient for now I would assume.

@ dialysis What's the file mover? I know i'm also being a lil lazy as I'm sure there's a explanation on Fab's site. Thnx. I'll prolly wait for stable 6 to come out also. Nothing Blu-ray here at the present moment. Still don't like Option setup.

    Taken from the DVDFab changelog:

"MoveFab" feature to transfer converted files to devices. Currently it supports iPod, PSP and ZUNE, and it will support more devices in the future.
