DVD's?

    Now if I could only get my player to do the reverse! (I'll make CVDs instead of vcds, no problem - but I want to put 'em on a dvd with it's seven-times capacity of a cd).

    Right now in my area, +RWs are fanatically expensive, but if I could get 8 or 9 hours of vcd (or) cvd material on 'em, (perhaps tv shows), that _would_ justify the cost.

    Imagine getting all three Lord Of The Rings movies (or, say) the three movies from the GodFather boxed set on a single dvd! NO disc swapping!

    In a technical sense, it can't be very hard to do. They (manufacturers) could allow it if they wanted to.

    Actually, I put a DVD in my DVD reader and my burned DVD in my reader and they both almost had identical files.
