end of kryptview?

Hi e45. Is it really necessary to have updated to Jan/11 before doing the network update?
I used the network update to update my box from Nov/10 sopftware and it appears to be working fine.

Isnt the network download a complete version?

 

my box is not working help sum one i have done the sw update a few days ago and was fine but just got up put tv on and no channels were have they all gone nooooooooooooo lol ?????????????????????????

 

Hi, Wandering if someone can help me here as im not sure if i need to reflash my firmware. I did a update via remote last week and seem fine but ive just read some threads here that i should have flashed it to the jan firmware via a pc before updating via the remote. I havent got half the channels thats on the list so this is why im asking here. At the moment in my sys info it reads date: 24/04/11, software ver pv3.8.00, H/W v3.0.0.

Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

all channells down must be working on it fingers crossed back up before footy starts

 

Anyone know why slysports 2 has nothing on it at all no epg no pic or anything its as if the channel is not there?

 

just one thing got the softwhere on box if i do a factory reset will i lose the new april softwhere ? cause im still missing sly sport 2 many thanks

 

no mate you will not lose the software

 

Guys, the net clears the chans, the cable provides the chans, so if a chan is missing, thats nowt to do with the net side, put the box on standby for 30 mins and it will powerscan, if the chan has moved, the box will find it,

After any firmware update, you must reset the box and rescan to make sure the firmware has been installed fully

 

sum of my channels back now but keeps frezzing could it be cuz i am using a router cuz when i plug the modem in to box it stop the frezzing ??????????????????????

 

Has anybody lost sly sport 2 in the Glasgow area,have lost it on both Krypt and Starview boxes is it down in the Uk or a local issue.

 

try channel 512 its around that area somewhere

menu >>>> installation >>>> S/W UPDATE allow box time to reboot before touching anything

ps leeds are 1-0 up atm and only 3min left

 

lads and lassies anybody that has 2010 or Jan firmware still on there boxes now WILL NOT be able to view channels you NOW need 24/04/2011 on your box

 

yes i factory defaulted the box etc but i am using 1 splitter

 

Done a factory default on the box and got sly sports 2 back.

Hi all

have just updated to latest software am sure I was on the feb download so downloaded the new one via ethernet cable and did a factory reset and a scan all the channels loaded in fine but apart from the FTA ones all are scrambled !!!!!in the Glasgow area anyone else having issues or any advice ?

 

All my channels are down in London!
