ESPN now on U*C Epg

does the kyrptview automatically powertscan when you put it in standby? , only got mine recently , didnt know that?

 

yip, leave it in standby for about 10 mins or so and thats it, chans in

 

Well you have to look at it like this from the cable providers prospective with the change to N3.

1. Changing all the N2 cards to N3 is a bigger logistical operation then when they done the last card swap (N1 cards to N3 in the older pace boxes this was the first part to there change over to N3) you have to remember all those cards were issued prior to the current cable providers time and there would be a lot more PVR and Media boxes out there then the older Pace boxes issued by N*L
2. Also you will get some people who have ‘Pirate cable boxes’ who will be reluctant to swap there cards out for fear there ‘Pirate cable box’ will cease operation. This also holds the process up.
3. And remember all ligit subs have not been issued with new cards yet and the cable provider will not knock off the sports yet for fear they will get new subs from people that still have the older N2 cards.

Maybe all this is BS but just my two cents worth

Eurosport2 now broadcasting on Ch----s in Swords. No sign of Espn channels yet though.

 

ESPN Classic coming through on the ESPN channel with me in wicklow on dreambox

 

Ok it was coming through but isnt now. There probably just putting it up at the moment. Eurosport2 is coming through tho

 

Leaving it on standby didn't work for me (I'm still on analogue maybe thats why)

I just did an auto scan

OK on Auto Search
Then hit the "Green" button
... wait for it to work (10 mins or so)

 

you need to tune the box in firstly, if you dont have a digital feed (not analogue) you wont get any chans

Its coming up as ESPN and ESPN Classic on the dreambox. Try doing a rescan on your box or check setanta news and setanta 2 because those channels are now gone.

I checked eurosport 2 and the espn channels and there all working and i noticed that on starview 4 usb they have the doller sign beside them like other channels.nice one cant wait till sat til start of season

 

yeah i just heard an ad whilst lolloping about on the landing n they have Serie A. still somehow more of an attraction than La Liga or Bundesliga.. long time since Football Italia - though obviously not the same tasteful presentation i'd imagine.. will they even have a panel!

LFC channel doesn't seem to be working today but ESPN working now.anyone with any update on this?

 

maybe theyve taken a break after pre-season/ before season.. if so then i wish theyd taken it early as pre-season could not have bn more depressing. but for 1 visit to singapore
