Finally Some Value For UPC Customers

yea im getting a package tomorrow for Digital Value TV with Digital+ and Fibre Power Broadband 15Mb and two extra boxes i have to get one put in its costing 50 euro and its 20 euro charge to be connected with broad band therrr chargiing me 100 euro im trying to rember what the othe 30 is for i do knwo when u set up ur own digital tv u get money back they dont charge

its gonna cost me 67 euro a month for 15 mb broad band and three boxes on basic

 

you can do a sell install yourself and save ya €50.00 but the bb not sure about that

 

yea but he has to put a box connection in one of the rooms or they will end up looking at the same prog form another room

 

now to clarify .they where charging me for a second recorder box which i didnt have so minus a tenner the disney package changed in november so playhouse disney and one or two others are now on the max package so minus €16.00 per 2 months .but they are adamant that the €8.50 is charged for addional points to new and existing customers so check with them lads and they say the €5.00 is only for two months because i asked about their web site.
Hey foalteam will you let me know how you get on with there broadband because mickha is right eircoms is rubbish there contention ratio is to high. so I might jump to there broadband

 

if you order online they credit you 20 euros per box and if you install yourself they credit you 10 euro per box

 

hi there can anyone tell me how long it takes for the channels to come up on the upc digital tv i have the radio channels but it is taken ages for the tv ones to come up i have the radio and can see rte in a small screen any help

 

press the tv button on the remote and they shoud be there

 

they supply a coaxial lead but i just used an ordianry rf lead woul that matter i dont have a thing for a coaxial lead

 

i pressed tv but still nothing theres a sign saying this set up is now been finalised this can take a few minutes therafter u will be able to watch tv etc but thats a half hour ago

 

i notice on some of the channels like rte 1 2 says im not subscribed to teh channel ???

 

did you follow the instructions that the card came with as you need to enter a code as well and scan the box as far as i can remember if you dont get it sorted ring them they are there till 10pm

 

do they not say with new card to leave overnight to update and to ring in the morning to confirm working.

no its simple they do them in batches of 20 people at a time and activate them normally 24 hours but because of weekend i have to wait till tomorrow

can anyone tell me of these boxes can be ch??ped

So what's the story with people that are currently on the 20mb package? Seeing as they no longer appear to be advertising the 20mb and the 30mb is the same price, do the 20mb customers get upgraded to 30mb, or are they ripping them off?

just of note, people on the Max pack have now got the ESPN chans as part of this pack at no extra cost!

 

Have BB and Phone with UPC and TV with Sky, saw their new fibre package and rang them about it, same old story its only for new customers and not existing customer scum like myself!

You'd think that they would be mad to get me over from sky, NOPE!
got a very uninterested member of the 'sales team' who couldnt really have cared less what package i was on or who my tv was with.

Stuck with my expensive package with sky (have to have the football!)
Trying to drum up courage to tell'em where to go, uk package £48.50 (€53-54) with free BB and phone, my package WITHOUT bb and phone €87, wheres the justice???
