Ok, so I updated my list from the prior post. I have decided to go with the Q6600. I have never overclocked before so I am wondering if I could get a boost from that. The Q9450 is great but it will break the bank.
Lmao. He only can't afford the Q9450 because he wasted all that money on an over the top motherboard...
He bought a GA-X48-DS4, which is a pretty good deal considering he might want to do crossfire later on.
For crossfire it's a great board, assuming crossfire is going to see use. However, it's a great deal more expensive than the comparative X38 board, which given the similarities, if you're undecided about crossfire would probably be the better option. Newegg no longer seem to sell it though, so the shipping costs of having to look elsewhere for it might be counter-productive.
